NIH Institutional Training Grants

Columbia University is proud to have been awarded institutional training grants to support the careers of individuals dedicated to research-intensive and research-related fields.  The first Training Grants Administrators (TGA) meeting took place in October 2010, and the TGA listserv was formed.  The purpose of this webpage is to provide valuable resources to its members to properly assemble the NIH National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Training Grants applications, and to monitor and manage the awards.

The TGA listserv was established to assist in communications between Columbia training grant administrators.   You are encouraged to send questions to your colleagues or to share information related to the preparation or management of training grants.  This is also used to announce upcoming meetings and training opportunities of interest to the group.  To be added to the listserv, please send an email to Stephanie Scott at

The following excel workbook contains a listing of Columbia's active institutional training grants, along with an 'Administrative Point of Contact' for each grant.  This list can be used to obtain information about each grant, and to contact individuals to obtain information required for the training grant tables in proposal applications.
