Dr. Prajakta Adsul, MBBS,MPH, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of New Mexico. Her research focuses on studying the implementation of evidence-based cancer prevention interventions to real-world clinical and community practice for achieving population impact. Both in her global and local research, she uses quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods to assess and incorporate multilevel determinants to implementation, with a focus on health equity. Prior to joining UNM, she was a Cancer Prevention Fellow, working with the implementation science team, at the National Cancer Institute. She received her medical training in India and her doctorate in Public Health at Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice.
