Andreas Thiel, PhD, Professor & Chair, Regenerative Immunology and Aging , BIH Center for Regenerative Therapies, Charité–Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany, "SARS-CoV2 reactive T cells in COVID-19 healthy donors"

While SARS-CoV2 is a new virus we have to deal with, other SARS viruses are quite common and it is safe to assume, almost everybody over his lifetime got in contact with them already. Dr. Thiel in his talk addresses which effects the cross reactivity of antibodies to these SARS viruses could have on SARS-CoV2 induced COVID-19 diseases. He concludes that exposure to HCoV viruses seems to reduce the severeness of COVID-19 diseases which could be used as a backup vaccine.
