ARPA-H BAA information

May 23, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

As you may be aware, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) has recently opened its first broad agency announcement (BAA) to solicit applications.  Below is some general guidance for the University community that is interested in applying.  More specific information, including the BAA, may be located at ARPA-H BAA.

Submission Portal: ARPA-H will be utilizing the electronic Contract Proposal Submission (eCPS) portal.  The eCPS can be accessed here. Individuals can self-register for an eCPS account.  Please note you must use a Columbia-affiliated email account to register, please do not use a personal email address.

Abstracts: Abstracts will be accepted via the electronic Contract Proposal Submission (eCPS) portal and evaluated by ARPA-H.  It is recommended that initial abstracts are submitted through your SPA Project Officer.  A Rascal PT is not necessary at the time of abstract submission.

Full Proposal: If selected to submit a full proposal, it must be submitted via your SPA Project Officer.  A Rascal PT will also be needed at this time.

Both the Abstract and Full Proposal require a Cover Sheet with specific administrative point of contact information included.  Please use the following Institutional Information for your Cover Sheet.

(3) Lead Organization – The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York

(4) Type of organization – OTHER EDUCATIONAL, Private non-profit University

(9) Administrative point of contact:
William Berger
Assistant Vice President

Additional proposal content and submission requirements are detailed in the BAA.

If you should have any questions on how to submit, or any other specific details, please contact your SPA Project Officer.
