Dr. Marka introduced the Columbia Department of Physics and offered their wholehearted support to the biomedical research community for anyone interested in collaborating with them. They have already donated their stocks of personal protective equipment and now wish to donate their “minds and experience” to the joint effort to contain the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. They are offering to collaborate on the invention and creation of one-of-a-kind instruments that are reliable and robust, to help measure the immeasurable.
