Town+Gown, under direction of the NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC), is a city-wide university-community partnership program that fosters relationships between city-based academic research institutions, and practitioners (i.e. New York City agencies) to build knowledge based on applied research projects in the built environment. There are two specific types of programming offered as part of Town+Gown: experiential/service learning and faculty-directed research.
More information about Town+Gown, programming, a past archive of project abstracts, and contact information may be found here.
