OPA provides individualized career counseling services throughout the year. Postdocs and Associate Research Scientists can sit down one-on-one with OPA's Assistant Director.
Topics and services include:
- Document reviews: resume, CV, cover letter, teaching statement, diversity statement, research statement
- Interview prep and mock interviews: faculty interviews, professional presentations, job talks, professional interviews
- One-on-one counseling and advising: exploring career paths, planning next steps, navigating job searches, identifying your skills and values, mentoring, networking, informational interviews, negotiating a job offer
