Yes, essential personnel still have to take training.  As the number of people on site gradually increases, everyone needs to be aware of and follow the same precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The training takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

Principal investigators should ask their team members to email them the Rascal certificate of completion.  Principal investigators may also work with their departmental administrators to obtain reports for their groups.

Yes.  Authorized departmental administrators can run reports in the Rascal Training Center to see who in the particular department has completed the training.  Use this job aid for help running reports.

If an administrator requires access to run reports, the department chair should use the Authorization Request form for Rascal Departmental Reports or email [email protected] to authorize access.

Yes. Authorized departmental administrators can assign the training to anyone in the department.  The training will then appear in the My Training To-Do List.  It is possible to batch upload assignments for many individuals at once.  More information about assigning a course in Rascal is available here.

Everyone in your department(s) who has logged on to Rascal within the past 400 days will show up in the report.  If anyone has not logged on to Rascal within 400 days but is still in your department(s) that person will not show up.
