GHS & Hazard Communication

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has recently updated the Hazard Communication Standard and adopted the Globally Harmonized System for the Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). This new approach aligns the United States with international standards. It is a comprehensive way to define the health, physical and environmental hazards associated with chemicals and also provides a coherent approach to safety data sheets (SDS).
