Chevron COVID-19 Response in Kazakhstan

ICAP will provide technical support to the Kazakhstan Ministry of Health (MOH) to improve capacity of health care facilities to establish and implement effective infection prevention and control (IPC) measures to prevent further spread of SARS-CoV-2 and limit infections among frontline health workers. The scope of technical assistance to the MOH will include development of COVID-19-related training materials for healthcare workers, tools to monitor and assess infection prevention and control practices at the facility level, as well as procurement and delivery of medical supplies to selected facilities designated to care for COVID-19, as requested by the MOH. ICAP will also work with the Chevron Office in Almaty to identify and address needs of socially vulnerable populations affected by the COVID-19.
