COVID-19 Mapping and Analysis

A diverse cohort of Columbia researchers is examining the virus’ biological functions, its genetic lineages, and its continued spread and impact on our lives and communities. Our researchers are examining the data and building predictive models in order to explore pivotal questions surrounding the outbreaks (for example, viral spread and evolution, and transmission characteristics), to characterize the biologic actions of the virus, and to understand short- and long-term impacts on human health and society.

"This virus does not discriminate, and we are all vulnerable... This is the time to build bridges, not walls, between peoples around the world. I am encouraged to see the sharing of information and scientific data across borders."
