ICAP will provide technical assistance (TA) and capacity-building support to Burmese Ministry of Health's (MoHS) National AIDS Program (NAP), in collaboration with key stakeholders and local partners. The overall goal of the project is to build MoHS capacity to develop and sustain differentiated service delivery models (DSD) tailored to key populations (KP), people living with HIV (PLHIV) PLHIV and their sexual partners; support HIV services with effective laboratory systems; and strengthen strategic information (SI) and surveillance to support progress toward achieving epidemic control targets. Under this scope of work, ICAP will support the Burmese MoHS to:
1. Provide temporary support at National Health Laboratory's virology surveillance data entry assistance, including nCov19 surveillance; and recruitment of three part-time data entry assistance and data entry support at NHL;
2. In collaboration with Myanmar Medical Association, to share technical updates and best practices with clinicians including general practitioners using tele-conferencing technology; set up of Zoom tele-conferencing facility; and coordination support;
3. To support Myanmar Medical Association in HR mapping of medical and non-medical volunteers matching needs of MOHS for COVID-19 response; and
4. To support Myanmar Medical Association in establishment of hotline for patients.
