Information overload is a common barrier for patients seeking clinical trials and for clinicians practicing evidence-based medicine. Our lab previously published an open-source tool called DQueST (http://impact2.dbmi.columbia.edu/dquest-flask/), which helps patients find clinical trials. We are adapting this tool to include structured COVID-19 trial information in order to help patients, clinicians, or healthy volunteers find and select the most appropriate COVID-19 trials for them. We will combine structured evidence of effective experimental treatment for COVID-19 from the literature and structured clinical trial information to help COVID-19 patients and clinicians make informed decisions.
